Hi, anyone know how I can suppress this notification, what should one configure in the configuration profile? I think it might have something to do with the management action app, based on the icon. I’ve configured a Management Action profile with a notifications payload a coupla months back but looks like it don’t work. I’m concerned users are going to start logging tickets for this

I thought so already. At the ‘End user experience’ you can make adjustments on notifications- or at the bottom disable it.

Hi @Cephas do you have it set up in Mac apps? Or where do you install Jamf connect?

Good question. I’m still somewhat confused where im deploying it from. Since that Self Service plus “integration” with Jamf Connect i started being confused. We’re using Mac Apps but I’m confused if it the same thing. If I click on the entry in Mac Apps and scroll down the version I see does not correlate to Jamf Connect and seems to be the same as Self Service+

But a coupla months ago I also configured a definition in Patch Management, so I’m confused where Jamf Connect is deploying from now. As this Patch Management option does seem to do the updates?

Thanks @peterlbk I’ve suppressed it now, despite that Jamf recommendation against it. Guess I’m just gonna have to see how it goes.

For Jamf Connect, I think you’re just fine to suppress the notification.

The login window is inactive until the user has logged out. There’s no need to alert anyone while logged in.
