Anyone using TeamDynamix?  We are looking at changing our ticket system however, we want something that is integrated with JAMF or at the least user friendly with JAMF.  Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated

I’m sure it’s too long, but found this thread looking for something else. We’ve been using TDX since 2016, and are pulling data out of Jamf into TDX asset since 2020. Now-a-days I’d use iPaaS to do this, but we’re still using a somewhat custom method to do it.

Did you make the leap? If so, how’s it working?

Have you contacted the TeamDynamix sales team on this yet? Ultimately its up to TeamDynamix to support Jamf's API, and their sales team can loop in their engineers which will give you the most accurate information in their capabilities.

We’ve been using Teamdynamix for several years for both a ticket system and asset inventory. We don’t yet have Jamf tied into TDX via api’s due to various reasons but have been using a report we generate out of TDX that downloads as an excel document. A python script converts it to csv that we upload into Inventory Preload.

It’s not by any means a great solution but it works for now. I’m not familiar with iPaaS but that sounds like something I’ve heard mentioned that we have access to.

We’ve been using Sassafras Keyserver/AllSight for years and years for usage and inventory information, and when we adopted TeamDynamix work management a couple of years ago we set up the Sassafras-provided inventory sync, so our asset data is selectively synced with TDX on a nightly basis. TeamDynamix acquired Sassafras AllSight/Keyserver this year and so far there’s been no disruption to our process, and they’ve promised there wouldn't be.

We decided to not pursue a direct connection between TDX and Jamf for inventory information, because it’s complicated to try to keep data in sync between more than two systems, and AllSight has our Windows clients as well.

However, we do subscribe to TeamDynamix’s iPaaS service, and have integrated it with our computer management tools to enable a single ticket to update computer records in multiple systems. TDX iPaaS is a powerful tool.
