Hi everyone,

We're wondering, is it possible to use Touch ID with Jamf Connect, or are there any restrictions / implications of using it? We have users that are using it, but are about to deploy Jamf Connect to all users.

If the device is just locked the user will be presented with the traditional macOS login screen, and if allowed by MDM configuration touch ID works.

 

JAMF Connect mainly gets in the middle of the login process which touchID would not work for anyway. JAMF Connect does not get in the unlock process for an existing login session which is required for touchID.
