Hi All,

is it possible to withdraw a Quick Actions in the Jamf School?

Hey @JamFm 

Here is some information passed along from a member of our Jamf School team: 

Yes, if they clear activity logs they can cancel all pending commands but that won’t stop any commands already prompted to the device.

There will be two workflows one for the classic UI and one for the beta UI,Beta UI: Jamf School > Devices > Inventory, then change the view from 25 devices to all devices and check the box in the top left of the table to select all the devices. Then select More (top right) > Clear Activity Logs.

Classic UI: Jamf School > Devices > Devices, then change the view from 25 devices to all devices and check the box in the top left of the table to select all the devices. Then click the red Advanced button that appears at the top of the table > Clear Activity Logs.

 

This will cancel all pending commands, commands like install apps or install profiles will auto generate when the device next check’s in but that will clear any commands generated by the admin through Quick commands.
 
This can also be done individually for devices by going to the device in Jamf School and clicking Activity log, in the top right there is a trash icon that will clear the activity logs.

    I mean, is it possible to withdraw quick actions, if that command don't received the iPad, because it isn't online. 

    Could the commands maybe cancelled from the admin in the Jamf. Is it maybe a Topic for Jamf Nation Feature Requests?

    Ok, if the status are "pending", we can stop/delete the quick action with to clear activity?

    Alle other commands with status "Acknowledged" are done. That is okay and technical doesn't solvable. It's normal.

    But if we clear the activity, we delete the completly protocoll aktivity, correct?

    It is not possible to select and delete individual Quick Actions with the status "Pending"?

    Would this be possible as a feature request?

    Hey Peter, 

    Status of "pending" means that the command has been pushed out and is currently in transit to the device in question. With that in mind something sitting in pending can indeed be stopped/deleted via clear activity. This would definitely be a good feature request https://ideas.jamf.com/
