Use iCloud for JSS SMTP?

Is it possible to use iCloud as an SMTP relay? I've used the correct credentials and settings from this KB: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4864, but I keep getting the "Unable to verify SMTP Service" error.

Thoughts?

Using TLS for the Encryption Method seems to have done the trick.
