Hi guys

Does anyone know how to make VMware fusion recognise my vms on an external drive?

I'm on a laptop and I keep running out of space.

I'm kinda thinking of symbolic links.

Has anyone else done something similar?

Hi,

you should be able to just drag and drop them from the external HD to your Virtual Machine Library in Fusion

You can double click on the VM that is stored on your external drive. This will add the entry to the virtual machine library and boot the VM for you.
