When will see Web Clips updated in Jamf Pro to include the TargetApplicationBundleIdentifier string so that we can set an app to open a Web Clip on iPadOS (e.g. set Google Chrome to open a Web Clip instead of Safari)?
These would be great quality-of-life improvements for webclips payloads.
But we currently have a workaround to get this done. If you replace the https:// portion of your web clip URL with googlechrome:// the webclip will open in chrome.

I am aware of that particular workaround. The only issue with it is that it still initially opens Safari which then re-directs to Chrome.
It would be nice to be able to open directly in Chrome.
I know this is an old post, but curious if there have been any updates? My understanding is this option has been available in Jamf School for some time now, but we still don’t have it in Jamf Pro.
You can set the Bundle ID using iMazing and then upload the configuration profile to Jamf Pro. It should be built into Jamf.
