In our JAMF Pro server logs hosted in jamfcloud, there are a lot of proxy push errors.   We've had Jamf Pro for seven years.  This has never been setup.  Should it?   Is it important?    I'm not aware of any real issues occurring, just these errors in the log over and over.

com.jamfsoftware.jss.exceptions.pushnotification.PushProxyConfigurationException: JAMF Push Proxy is not configured


 

Have you setup a push proxy certificate in settings->global->push certificates? It's probably related to that.


If you don't know what that's for, I use it to send notifications to devices through the self service app.
