+26Its down to how your Radius Policies are setup for the 802.1x network. You could use user auth instead of certificates, but that has its down sides. If you used certificates you could use SCEP instead of ADCS if you wanted. There are many other alternatives as well. If you are using NPS I suggest reaching out to microsoft for some guidance.
