As we're on a Windows server, we can't use Casper Netinstall Image Creator, so (other than rolling our own by hand) our only option to create a NetBoot image is AutoCasperNBI.
It's good, but I've got two issues with it.
1. There's a significant delay after the Finder comes up before Casper Imaging auto-launches. Is there anything that can be done so that Imaging loads much sooner? Alternatively, I'd love to have it load instead of Finder, but I'm guessing that won't be an option.
2. More importantly, I want to have this be more automated; tell a machine to NetBoot and walk away. Unfortunately, Imaging requests a JSS logon. Is there a way to store credentials so that it loads directly into Imaging?

@georgecm12 I've wondered myself why Casper Imaging takes so long to auto-launch. But since we always use Disk Utility to re-format/partition the drive it gives us just the time we need to get that accomplished before Casper Imaging launches. For #2 you can setup a Prestage Imaging in the JSS that will allow you to auto-login to Casper Imaging. We just started playing with it the other day and it works well. We are using the Network Segments option for scoping it. This might be an option for your workflow.

Yeah, the delay is somewhat intentional. And yes, you can use Prestage imaging, or edit the AutoRun data for the machines you want to be imaged automagically:

@georgecm12, @mpermann & @RobertHammen the delay in Casper Imaging opening is due to the changes in LaunchD in 10.10+.
The same launchagent is used in AutoCasperNBI regardless of OS version.
I've not had much luck speeding it up, but if you find a way.. Let me know!
