Changing the name of my JSS

Not applicable

Hi all,

I just changed the name of my old jss to a test server. The old name was "casper". The new name is "casper2". However, there's still remnants of casper on casper2.moravian.edu
If you type in http://casper2.moravian.edu you'll get redirected to:
https://casper.moravian.edu:8443/

If you change the above to: https://casper2.moravian.edu:8443/, it loads.

There is a config file somewhere which contains these settings, but I don't know what the name is or where its location is. I've checked all over the/Library/Tomcat folder... opening each xml file and searching for any instance of "casper" to no avail.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
-lauren

I think there's an xml in the web-inf folder that handles some of that re-direction stuff…

If the JSS is running on OS X Server you need to use the changeip
command to set IP and DNS records.
