Hello All,

I am looking for the URL to script to download the latest version MS Edge and to install on macOS when it will execute on mac device. I dont want to download and upload and add this latest .pkg every month in my Jamf policy. But after download I can see the URL is version dependent, do anyone has any suggestion how to get a fix URL so that same URL will download the latest version of MS Edge .pkg every month without changing the URL in my policy, I want to do it just I like MS Office package after taking the URL from https://macadmins.software

Please help me for Edge browser.

Not trying to be facetious, but have you looked at installomator? even Apple feels the same way you do and it is now recommending this

The Jamf App Catalog offers Microsoft Edge as an available install, and apps installed via that mechanism automatically update. If the Jamf App Catalog isn't an option then Installomator which @efil4xiN has already suggested would be your best option.

Doesn't https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=2093504 always download the latest copy of Edge? If you use that URL, you should always get the current stable version.

Ok, but If I use the logic of installomator still I cant evaluate the URL to get it.

Any suggestion?

JAMF Mac App Catalog is your best option to have no involvement in this at all. It is fully automated. However, with full automation also means you evaluate what JAMF is doing. You cant have your cake and eat it to.

Beyond 1) JAMF's Mac App Catalog, or something like  2) installomator and keeping up on it, or 3) downloading the package and building the policy yourself. I suggest you reach out to Microsoft for suggestions.

@Asifahmed Why do you need to evaluate the URL? Installomator will install it for you without you needing to provide the URL. If you're simply looking for the URL then you already have it from the macadmins.software fwlink for Edge.

I use Microsoft's script directly from their GitHub repo.
