Enrolling Students into new VPP program

Every student here has a school email account, and some use that for the Apple Store, and some/most do not. I am trying to invite students to use VPP, and need to be able to send this email invite to their school email address, and when they click on the link, they can pick which address to use, e.g if they open the link on their iPad they will be asked to login to whatever account they use.

Is this possible? I hope so.

In my experience the VPP link just requests them to enter the password of whichever Apple ID they are currently logged in to, if they are not logged in to any Apple ID then it will request a username and password.

Yep, what Matt.Sim said is correct. They get emailed the link but then enter the Apple ID they want to connect to your VPP.

Yeah, Apple doesn't care which ID they use, regardless of the push or email method. That said, if your students are under 13 make sure you've had their parents/guardians complete the Apple ID for under 13 steps at home ahead of time, otherwise when you push it out and a kid goes "I don't haaaaave an Apple ID" you'll be explaining how their parents can complete that for them. A nice benefit is if they've already made their school address an ID in the past, when you upload your csv to Apple it won't create any ID's for email addresses that already have an ID, and it'll tell you that in the error column once its done processing.
