Any help would be great

@EliasG Is it possible you have a different username? EX: Admin vs administrator.. Different build but short name? Have you tried using the CLI to SSH into the machine? using ssh "username"@10.5.3.221 ? ARD? you can also use whoami on machine.

Also i would run ssh -v "username"@IP to get a clear pic of whats going on..also on client look at log file.

Theres a bunch of reason why this would fail but lets start here.

@EliasG Is the same account the management account? Are policies &/or other Casper Remote commands working fine?

We are seeing this quite often after our upgrade to 9.81. Still haven't figured out how to get around it.
