Had a student this week figure out that if they look at the more information of the connected Wi-Fi that they could change the Configure DNS from Automatic to Manual and then provide a new DNS IP.  Which then jailbreaks our content filter.

Any suggestions on how to enforce the Automatic setting of Configure DNS? There should be no reason for any of my students or staff to need to Manually configure this.

Are you deploying the network configuration with Jamf? I don't think you can do anything to networks that are not being managed.

I do have configuration profiles that push out Wi-Fi payloads listing SSIDs.

I've now been looking at the DNS Settings payloads to see if there might be something I could push there?
