Hi all,

We've recently upgraded to 7.3.1 & now I'm getting the above error when opening recon.exe on a pc & entering either:

  1. Host name FQDN of jss. (OSX-LON-GCG-02.weu.grey.global)

  2. IP of jss.

  3. Resolvable url : http://jss.greyeu.com:9006/

BUT... I can ping & access the JSS using the above from the same PC, also running;

"c:uild econjamf.exe" recon -overrideJSS http://jss.greyeu.com:9006 -username <user> -password <pass>

So you mean something like the attached?

Ran it on a Windows XP SP3 system, with the Recon in the current 7.31 dmg, which is 7.3.0.0. I am able to access the JSS from the web browser.

Copying support, but I want to tell them this is not an issue for me as I do not use it for Windows. But Ben here...heโ€™s got a problem. =)

Maybe!

7.3.0.0 comes with the Casper Suite 7.31 download, so maybe it wasn't added to the dmg?

Suffice to say I've not got it :(

Interesting, but I assume if you go to a command prompt you can resolve the FQDN in NSLOOKUP, and/or get to the JSS web from this box?
