Let the title say I need help finding a script that will add ipads to a static group. I found script for computer but not for ipads.

Post the script you found for adding Macs here and I'm sure it would only take a small amount of editing to make it work with iPads/iOS devices. I assume it's an API script that takes an input file (csv, txt, etc) as the source.

Try the JSS MUT, available from the Mac App Store. They just added this functionality. To my knowledge, this is developed by a jamf (or at least former jamf) employee. https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/the-mut/id1133234759?mt=12

You will have to do some heavy modification if your are not a school (because it takes data from a SIS)

I am new to Jamf, how do you run these scripts to make life easier? It would be nice not having to select over 2800 iPads to put into specific static groups.
