Folks,
Been looking online but cannot find so I reach out to you.
Does anyone know if there is a defaults write command (or similar) that will disable the "Calculate All Folder Sizes" on a global scope?
Some very under-experienced users of mine decide to tick it on, thus slowing down the entire mac not to mention it wreaks havoc on our SMB shares. Then of course they need a new computer cause it's slow and it sucks, the internet is slower the file server, etc.
They have no idea how the calculate all folder sizes button got ticked. When I ask them why, they of course say "You gave it to me that way."
So, since it's always my fault. Hoping there is a way to disable it permanently.
Thanks in advance as always!!

Managed Preference Template: com.apple.finder
so maybe you could make a custom Config Profile for this?
