I asked this question a few days ago and got no response. Has anyone had any problems using Casper Remote to control a machine? It seems every time I try to connect to a machine through Casper remote it starts and then tells me it is shutting down ssh server. It was working fine but isnt working now.
Any ideas on how to fix it? I have tried using recon to add the amchine and that does no good. None of my machines can be accessed via remote to control or view them. However, here is the odd part. They can be imaged fine in remote.
Thanks.

I would start by looking at the jamf logs in /var/logs and see what they say

Did you just upgrade your JSS software? try holding option down while opening casper remote.
Try VNC again

That was it. Thanks for everyone’s suggestion.
Works great now.

I saw something like this awhile back, and if I remember correctly it was
fixed by re-setting the access settings under System Preferences -> Sharing
-> Remote Management. If you've restricted who can log in, try opening it up
to everyone & see if that fixes it. If so, try re-setting the access back
again & see if its working.
