Run a script as root in a users session via Self Services

What I am trying to do is to run the Adobe Flash Player Install.app as an administrator from Self Service so our users can download the latest version of Adobe Flash Player, if we ever fall behind pushing out the latest version via a policy. I have tested running as administrator on my machine, however, when I run the policy from Self Service I am assuming that it is calling the script as the Management Account. How can I get it to run the script in the current users session but as root so they are not prompted for admin rights.

We do not all most of our users to have admin rights. So this would be a huge help. Unless anyone knows of a way to keep third party apps up to date.

sign up to redeploy flash, get the pkg instead of the app. there are many instances of people posting the proper way to distribute Flash if you search JAMFNation.

Or you can just download the "(for System Administrators)" installer from https://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/distribution3.html and put that in Self Service. The growing trend to download a downloader is a horrible one. Even if we weren't under such strict security here, I still would not allow users to install the Flash updates on Day 1. I make the PKG available in JSS and force it to install on next check in or on Login after I have vetted it and verified that it's OK.
