+1It would be nice to have a "notes" section in static device groups so I could add info like classroom locations and current teachers (i.e. these 20 ipads are spread across 5 classrooms 4 ipad each room). I could make individual static groups per room, but that seems like a lot of hassle with teachers/classrooms changing and moving.
How do you guys keep track of ipad locations?
+8I haven't found the exact solution in Jamf, but I combined features to track the device's (iPad's) WiFi MAC address from Jamf. This allows me to trace which access point the device is connected to, helping to determine its current location.
If the iPad is lost, you can enable Lost Mode in Jamf, which will show the last known location on a map.
