We are preparing configuration for our school iPad for next academic year.
but we found that the new function, Home Screen Layout display the monster character when we type in the traditional Chinese characters.

I don't think the JSS has full unicode support. Students who have emoji in their iPad name show up as "" which is what I think you're calling the "monster character" and something I've come across too. It's tripped me up in scripting a little in the past.

I doubt there's anything we can do; you should ask your Jamf support person.

After support request, I got a temporality method. It is Install a test JSS on a Linux or a mac machine and create the profile there. Download it and upload to the JSS.

PS : My running server is Windows Server 2008

Thank you for sharing this information! My JSS server is also on a Windows host, so that must be the bottleneck.
