Has anyone tried to set up automated synchronization of distribution points using Dropbox?

We use dropbox it's great. We do target mode imaging and set our distribution point to our local dropbox folder. Mac's install in under 10 minutes.

I haven't tried it although does sound like a nice simple way to get the data synced across. The only limitation is dropbox's default behaviour which is to sync everything, unless you tell it otherwise, but other than that it should work.

I've setup Carbon Copy Cloner and it works pretty fantastic.

I have 4 offices and use BTSync version 1.2.82. Works great because it's operating using bittorrent tech. 4x the sync speed roughly. Makes a huge difference. If you don't care about speed, just use rsync.

Also, syncthing has made great jumps and is a simple piece of software. I'd recommend this for new people now. I'd switch but my current system has been flawless for a few years so why change.
