Hey everyone,
We recent had a handful of Macs start to exhibit weird behavior. When waking from sleep or leaving and returning to our corporate wifi network, they will connect but the AirPort icon in the menu bar will show an exclamation point over it. Additionally, the Network pane in System Preferences will show it has no assigned IP.
Now, where it truly gets weird is if you run an ifconfig in Terminal, it shows it connected and with a valid IP. The user can access network resources normally, but the GUI claims its connected with a self assigned address. Has anyone else seen this behavior? We've seen it on 10.14.6 and 10.15 devices.
