Question

Identify urls needed for app? To add to allowlist for filter

Forum|alt.badge.img+2

We are using iPads for our elementary school, and have the content filter set to allow list only. I am trying to add an app (GarageBand), and it is showing as installed, but it is not available on the iPad. From what I have read, I think that the problem is that the filter is blocking something, so since the device cannot access the app's website, it is hiding the app. How can I find out what is being blocked? Apple lists one site that needs access (audiocontentdownload.apple.com), and I have allowed that, but I can't find anything else. I installed the app on another unrestricted iPad, and checked traffic when I had the app open, but there doesn't seem to be anything else that needs to be accessed. Is there any way to find out why an app is being blocked?

I faced a similar kind of issue last time, I am still searching for a proper solution.

I did figure mine out. I had blocked all of the default iPad apps, and Garage Band was one of them. Unblocked it, and there it was again.
