Whether you’re new to Jamf Nation or have been here a while, it’s easy to see the Jamf community is different. But its secret sauce isn’t the platform, or even the strategy that facilitates its direction. It’s the people who fuel its growth. Those passionate customers – the ones who push Jamf to continuously improve, who come to our events and present on our webinars – inspired a program. In 2018, Jamf launched Jamf Heroes – an opportunity that gave customers a unique way to engage with Jamf, and each other.

Over the last seven years, the program grew. Jamf Heroes connected thousands of customers in meaningful ways that helped generate professional successes, grow genuine friendships and inspire more involvement in the Apple community. It thrived. Now we’re ready to take it to the next level and relaunch the Heroes program with a refreshed vision (and in a new home that’s coming soon)!

The program will offer customers:

  • Access: Jamf Heroes will have more access to Jamfs across the organization, including round tables with Jamf leaders.
  • Recognition: You win when people know who you are. For those interested, we’ll help you develop your personal brand as a way to showcase your knowledge in the industry. (We’ll also give you a cool ribbon at JNUC!)
  • Fun: Everyone needs laughter in their lives. Jamf Heroes provides a solid dose of fun, which not only fuels the soul, but also helps facilitate friendships within the program.
  • And more: We’re also big believers in creating moments that matter. So be ready for a surprise or two!

Some important things to note:

  • Heroes will serve a one-year term, with the ability to re-apply the subsequent year.
  • We’re accepting applications now through May 2, only. After this date, customers will wait until the following year to apply.
  • We’ll welcome our new group of Jamf Heroes into the program on May 21 (so watch for that Congratulations email).
  • You must be a current customer to apply and remain in the program.
  • All Heroes are expected to actively participate in the program. If passivity is your thing, this probably isn’t the right program for you.
  • We only tolerate kind humans.

“Jamf Heroes has connected me with other admins who I might not have otherwise crossed paths with in the larger Jamf and Mac Admin communities,” Thom Martin, Jamf Hero since 2018, said. “We’ve not only grown our professional skillsets together, but have fostered friendships which I will cherish for years to come.”

Reach out to jamfnation@jamf.com with any questions. We look forward to seeing your application!

When empathy and passion fuel your work, you can’t fail. That’s why they’re at the center of my life, both in and out of the office. I'm responsible for Jamf’s overall community engagement and advocacy strategy. This includes Jamf Nation and Jamf Heroes. After my passion for people drove me to begin writing for my hometown’s newspaper at the age of 12, I worked as a reporter at newspapers in Wisconsin, Iowa and New York before moving back to the midwest. Residing just outside of Minneapolis, Minnesota, I continually try to do what I can to make the world a better, brighter place. I founded the nonprofit Project Prom and co-founded of the nonprofit Building for Bridget. (Google them for a bit of inspiration.)
