As someone who’s been part of the Apple admin community for a few years now, I’ve had the privilege of helping out the amazing team with MacAD.UK, both as an attendee and behind the scenes. In my day-to-day role as a Technical Lead for Workplace Solutions, I spend my time working with all aspects of our business with everything Apple and development, collaborating with fellow admins, sharing knowledge and supporting customers adopt Apple technology whenever I can.

MacAD.UK is a community-driven, session-led Apple-focused conference, has been a staple in Brighton for eight years. Bringing together world-class speakers, leading exhibitors, and top technical professionals from around the globe. Whether you're an experienced admin or just starting your journey, MacAD.UK is where the community comes together to learn, collaborate, and push the boundaries of what’s possible.

Why Attend MacAD.UK?

First and foremost, the ducks! (Ok, maybe not the ducks. More on that later…) But most importantly, MacAD.UK is a community-driven event. At its core, MacAD.UK brings together a wide variety of like-minded technical professionals in a single place, where everyone can meet, share, and learn from each other. Here’s why you should attend:

Speaker Sessions – Learn from experts who do this stuff every day. Whether it’s macOS management, security, automation, or career building, the sessions are packed with valuable insights.

Meet your colleagues – the community of attendees is incredibly helpful and friendly. This is your chance to connect with others who understand your challenges, like why MDM keeps you up at night.

Hands-on learning – Demos, workshops, and practical sessions ensure you leave with tangible takeaways, not just notes you’ll forget later.

Leading Solutions – Get up close with the latest Apple IT solutions, chat with exhibitors, and maybe even snag some swag.

Brighton vibes – It’s in Brighton! A great city with a chill atmosphere, plenty of spots to grab a drink, and even a chance to enjoy the seaside (Pray for the weather!).

Ducks! – We play into the MacAD.UK name to create a lighthearted and fun approach to the conference. Expect to see a duck or two hiding around the venue

Testing, Testing 123

At MacAD.UK, our mission is to create a diverse speaker line-up that offers everyone a chance to learn and gain experience, regardless of their technical level or the technology they work. Our speakers aren’t just experts in Apple IT or Security; they live it. From seasoned Mac admins to security professionals and automation wizards, you’ll hear from individuals who have seen and resolved a wide range of challenges.

For more information on the list of speakers, the line-up can be found here > https://www.macad.uk/speakers

Networking / Community

One of the best parts of MacAD.UK isn’t just the talks; it’s the people. This is where the Apple admin community comes together in real life, away from Slack threads and Teams calls. You’ll find actual face-to-face conversations with folks who get it, whether you’re troubleshooting a tricky MDM setup, debating the best automation workflows, or just swapping war stories about the latest macOS quirks.

Beyond the sessions, MacAD.UK is designed to foster connections. From casual hallway chats to deep-dive discussions over coffee, you’ll encounter industry veterans, open-source contributors, and newcomers eager to learn in a relaxed and welcoming environment. Even after the sessions end, the conversations continue, whether over dinner, drinks, or a full-on Brighton pub crawl. No matter your experience level, you’ll leave with new ideas, fresh perspectives, and a network of people you can turn to long after the conference.

See You in Brighton!

MacAD.UK isn’t just another IT conference; it’s a community hub for Apple Admins.
