Hey Nation,

A lot of what makes this community great isn’t what we build, it’s what you all bring to it.

The answers, the advice, the time you give to help someone else out, it doesn’t go unnoticed.

I wanted to share a genuine thank you to everyone who contributes, supports, and shares their knowledge here ❤️.

And what better way to show that than bringing my fellow Jamfs into it  👀.

So, Jamf team, let’s shout out what we appreciate about our customers!

I’ll start….

Shoutout to @scooterkohler , whose enthusiasm and desire to learn have been clear since joining the community last year. You’ve thrown yourself into the Jamf Heroes program (so much so, you’re a featured highlighted Hero 👏🏼) and have already started a user group in your area to bring others together 🙌🏼. Thank you for your energy and willingness to give back back!

Jamfs, your turn next!

Thank you so much for the kind words, it truly means a lot. @LysetteB and @JeniA have been amazing people to have in my corner on this journey.

Being part of this community and the Jamf Heroes program has been an incredible experience, and it’s the people here who make it so impactful. I’m grateful for the opportunity to learn, connect, and give back alongside such a supportive group.

--------------------------------------------

I’d love to give a heartfelt shoutout to @ThomM. From the very beginning, he has gone above and beyond to make me feel truly welcomed and valued in this community. His kindness, encouragement, and genuine willingness to share his knowledge have made such a meaningful difference in my journey.

Thom has this incredible way of making you feel capable, like you really can do all the things you once doubted yourself about. He’s generously shared so many thoughtful tips and clever tricks, always lifting others up and helping them grow along the way.

Attending JNUC was already an exciting experience, but walking in and knowing I had a friend there made it even more special. That sense of connection and belonging meant more than I can fully put into words. I’m so grateful for his support, his mentorship, and the positivity he brings, this community is brighter because of him.

I would like to shout out our friends  @ShawnGiesbrecht - for being a Jamf Certifications champion and setting the bar high on what can be accomplished in only 12 months, and @fahad.tabassum for your continued efforts to take on new Jamf offerings and workflows, to improve upon the great work already in place. It’s been a pleasure working with you both, hopefully see you in KC!!

Shout out to @Chubs. I will never forget our first meeting together. We spent most of the time connecting and talking about our families and Star Wars. Your knowledge of all things Jamf and your engagement in Jamf Nation is amazing to see. I hope we can continue to cross paths!

Shout out to @ThomM and @ktrojano for being with me on my Jamf Community journey from the VERY beginning. We’ve grown Jamf Heroes and strengthened Jamf Nation together over the last 8+ years! I can’t thank you both enough for not only the kindness and help you’ve given me, but more so what you’ve done to help lift up your fellow community members. You are both pillars of Jamf Nation, and beacons of light for those around you! 👏🏻

Thanks John! Wow, throw back to my old highED ECSM!  Shout out right back to you good sir!  Besides my last ECSM at my current org, John is one of my favorites at JAMF regarding account management!  I always like the fact that we always recognize that we’re people first and then “jamfs” after that.

I’m jelly of all you education folks that have interaction with @jbudge21.  Miss ya buddy!

Dang it… @scooterkohler and @JeniA over here making me cry. Thank you both for your exceptionally kind words.

Scooter, seeing you jump into the community with both feet has truly been an inspiration. I know I was super excited to finally have another Hero in Arizona, and I’m honored to also count you as a friend. And it’s super exciting that you’ve revived the Phoenix user group! I very much look forward to seeing how you continue to grow!

Jeni, thanks so much for your vision of what community at Jamf could be and fostering a place where connections and friendships like ours can not only grow but flourish. Our paths crossed just as I was starting my journey as a Jamf admin and I can’t imagine doing what I do without the community and resources you and your team have built and grown. Thank you!

I’m going to throw out a short (since I’m super limited on time recently) shout out to @tommypatzius, @MusicCityMac, and @ThomM !

I always seem to run into you guys at JNUC and gain some kind of knowledge from you - be it technical, personal, or just some random thing.  Always warm welcoming faces (and sometime mohawks), friendly conversation, and feels like family.

Thank you for who each of you are and for everything you do!

Oh and I always have to call out my Jamf folks.  I can’t list everyone because I don’t know your community handles lol.

WOW! A shoutout by @Chubs! I’m honored 😊

I can’t say enough about some of my fellow Heroes who I got to spend time with at JNUC in Denver, @tommypatzius @ThomM @mattjerome @glennu my cohort partner @scooterkohler and last but not least @Chubs who is an INCREDIBLE resources to the ENTIRE COMMUNITY!

I would be severely remiss if I didn’t thank the AWESOME Community Team who make this community space so special, @JeniA @LysetteB @Mitchell_Gordon and @JoannaB

Massive shoutout to @garybidwell, a true Jamf Hero who's always first on hand to jump in and help customers with queries. When I speak to customers, they ALL know Gary, and that's the mark of someone truly making a difference in our community.

Gary also happens to be our resident Jamf training champion. Gary has taken all his training over the years, and last year he decided to retake every single one of them to stay up to date with the changes in the Jamf Platform… And then he flew through them in just 2 months!!! He's also passed the Jamf 400 certification twice making him a Second Degree Certified Jamf Expert.

Fun fact: Gary helped beta test some of our original Jamf training courses, so if you find them challenging... well, you now know who to blame.

Gary, thanks for being such an incredible advocate.  Your expertise, and enthusiasm for learning, teaching and sharing, and for all the other countless ways you contribute, help make our community stronger. You're exactly what makes Jamf Nation brilliant.

There are so many of you I would love to shoutout. I especially feel connected to those I routinely look forward to seeing at JNUC. It was great to share a stage with @glennu & @Jordy-Thery last year. What a wealth of knowledge the both of bring to the Jamf Nation community! @Chubs and I have had great conversations surrounding both work and life topics. Jarred is always willing to listen. @mattjerome has taken time out of his day on multiple occasions to partner with me on questions I have had. Our Zoom calls have been great! @ThomM is a Jamf super user I can always rely on for great info. As is THE Kim @ktrojano. I always look forward to chatting with @MusicCityMac. Thanks for all the great recommendations in exploring Nashville! My wife and I had a great outing after the dust had settled.

I know there are so many more I owe a shoutout to. I am thankful for my career as a Mac Admin, and all the great minds I have met along the way. I am especially thankful I was brought into the Heroes program and continue to be supported in many ways by @JeniA @LysetteB @JoannaB @Mitchell_Gordon

This is an impossible challenge. 🤭 How many people can I tag?

@glennu & @tommypatzius of course for sharing the stage at JNUC, @MusicCityMac, @ThomM, Mark Juzek, @Jiggie914, … for being the kind souls that they are. The people from the Benelux Mac Admins community, all the Jamfs ( @LysetteB, @JeniA, @JoannaB, @Mitchell_Gordon, the consulting engineering team, the whole Amsterdam team, …), the lovely faces from Jigsaw24, @perryd84, I can go on for hours. 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻

Shoutout to @mfcave! Morgan you gave a great presentation last week at our JNL in Austin at the Apple campus! Not only do you tirelessly serve the Richardson ISD community of students, staff, parents, but you are best in class with lifting up your peers in education as well! So thankful for you and everyone like you that help take education to the next level.

@JeniA & @tommypatzius your kind words are especially appreciated today. Since the end of our meeting this morning, it’s been a non-stop day of needs without a lot of thanks. However, that just emphasizes what makes the community so great. We get it and we show up when asked and needed. We don’t take each other for granted and we’re not afraid to shout out well deserved praises. 🫶

I love everything about your post, @ktrojano (other than the part where you didn’t get thanks). You’re exactly right - you all show up for each other, time and time again...simply because you care. You’re the community members EVERY company wishes they had. Thank you.

There is no shortage of people I could shoutout here for all that they do, and so many of you have helped me out when I was a customer and as a Jamf. A few that I want to call out in particular are:

@Chris_Hafner as one of the first people I met via the RC Program and Heroes and providing me so many invaluable resources when I was a customer, and also being such a beacon of positivity in the Heroes Program, @markj for always making sure to invite me to the virtual user group meetups as I love being able to attend when it fits in my schedule. And to @mattjerome for partnering with me on a presentation last year and sharing the stage with me at JNUC 2025.
