I have the following issue.I want to deploy the Self Service App and bought it in the Apple Business Manager.In the Settings in JamfPro I configured it to "install automatically"Now sometimes Self Service works as intended, where I can find the apps I assigned and sometimes it asks me to configure a JamfPro Server for the app. I have two testdevices, which are deployed to the same configuration profile. Can Anyone help me out regarding this? Best regardsTolga

Hi all,I have recently deployed Jamf Connect and Jamf Pro, managed to enroll devices successfully and can see them in the Jamf portal. Able to manage the devices OK.  However, I have noticed on all deployments, that the Jamf Connect drop down (Drop down menu when clicking on the icon), is completely blank - https://imgur.com/a/BZj5Roj - Unable to upload pictures so I have uploaded screenshot to Imgur.  The options on the menu do still work, but obviously isn't ideal for end users. I have been unable to see other references to this issue - Has anyone else seen/had this?  Any help would be appreciated, let me know if you need more information.  Many thanks!

We want to upload Xcode (packaged and 14GB in sixe) as part of our Patching Policy and wondering if there is a limit on the size of the PKG you can upload to Jamf Pro (cloud based instance).I've found a few posts in the past on this issue but never a concrete answer....Also, does anyone know the total amount of storage you can use with an instance of Jamf Pro? I'd like to know as we have quite a few PKG's on there already that are fairly large.

New to Jamf and I noticed Remote Login (System Preferences > Sharing) is already checked after starting up a new computer after a prestige enrollment. I don't have many config profiles and I looked through them nothing with a payload that would turn that on.My only guess is that it is a default from Jamf to enable Jamf Remote?

I have been trying to sus out what is calling Python2(deprecated path) in my deployment workflow as we now get the JAMF Agent error that many others are seeing.  I have finally narrowed it down as to where it is...yet no idea how to correct it.  it looks like the script for calling/configuring DEP Notify that was supplied a while back has one single python call to get the current user:# After the Apple Setup completed. On-Prem Jamf: Remote Management is very slow. Is that normal? It takes about 30 ~ 1 hour, sometime even 24 hours to complete Remote Management.We dont use Jamf cloud (cost reasons). Anyone else using On-Prem, could you tell me how long it takes for your Remote management?Is there any fixes around this? We are switching from managing iPads through Jamf Pro to Jamf School, and I was wondering if there'd be a way to automate the re-enrollment without wiping and re-enrolling through DEP?I'd definitely want it as a supervised enrollment, but not the end of the world to have to just push out a wipe and re-enroll with DEP.

I've set up JamF School and tested a few profiles.  Decided to run a different profile with different HomeScreen and it works but then reverts back to a different HomeScreen with text that I've removed.  Why is it still holding onto the old one?

Our Mac's are DEP and we're using NoMAD to authenticate users with AD. We've recently noticed an issue where when someone logs into a Mac where they don't have a local user profile it's not creating all of the home directory folders. It's missing the Movies, Pictures, and Music folders - however if I go to Finder Preference's it then creates the missing folders.It wouldn't be an issue but we have an application that saves recordings in the Movies Folder, because it's not there it's just erroring that the user doesn't have permission to create the save folder.I had noting to do with the setup of NoMAD so not entirely sure of the setup of that - could it be something to do with the NoMAD? Anyone else seen this behaviour, or have any clue what I need to look at?Thanks

Hi all!We have been having a very strange problem for a while, the iphones without touching the buttons or starting the recovery mode are formatted from the factory. It does not happen to us in all the iphones devices that we have in Jamf but we have reported more than 15 cases with this problem, we reviewed the configuration and we did not find anything strange. We have configured the installation of updates if the user has not applied the update after 90 days, but these cases occur with all the updates made.Do you know what could be due?Thanks!

So i just took over the mac environment at a new company. the last guy left before I started and there was virtually no turnover. Im going through all of the policies and configurations, but I'm seeing some of the policies as scripts, but with no scripts attached or assigned..... Am I missing something, or was there some mischief? 

I heard this community was amazing so I thought I would try my luck. We currently have 200 employees and most of them use Macs and we are going to be using JAMF for all of them. We have about 20 users that use Windows and Linux and I was wondering if this wonderful community knew an equivalent that I could use for those operating systems. Linux is not as import because right now we don't have many of those users but we have an audit coming up that needs a system in place like this for Windows machines.

New JAMF customer and trying to figure things out. On the JAMF PRO Policy I selected  Self Service as a trigger for the package and on Mac Apps I also added the Company Portal app form the Jamf App Catalog.  So far I do not see the company portal appearing in the Self Service.  Am I missing something? Is the documentation correct on only register from the Self Service app?Thanks
