We're super excited to have this new User Group targeted at the AZ/CO/NM/NV/UT region! Of course, all are welcome - you don't have to be located in one of those states to participate! We'll aim to have a virtual meetup the last Thursday of each month at 6PM MST/7PM MDT (yes we have to complicate the time thing here in AZ), with our first meeting on March 30th, 2023.
A little about myself: My name is Thom Martin, and I am the Apple Infrastructure Manager for the College of Social & Behavioral Sciences at the University of Arizona. We started using Jamf in 2018 to manage classroom and computer lab Macs for one of our departments, began expanding our Jamf footprint to non-lab Macs College-wide in 2021, and added iPad management in 2022. Up until very recently it's been just me managing and developing our Apple environments. I've just begun training another member of our IT team to share the workload and back me up, which is really exciting.
