Adobe 2018

Having some real trouble installing our Creative Cloud Suite that I have packaged up... I have followed a thread in here that suggested creating a DMG, then using the PKG to DMG script / Cache and trigger at login but nothing is happening and the test machine is stuck at 'Pending'... Can anyone recommend a method they use?

Thank you in advance.

"Creative Cloud Suite"?

The Adobe recommended deployment method is to create individual packages, and put them into a policy for deployment.

Creative Cloud Packager has been working flawlessly for the last several years...each PKG is a bundle, Jamf Pro compresses the PKGs to ZIP during upload.

We cache the package first, then scope the install policy to computers that have it cached.

Agree with @donmontalvo the last few iterations of Creative Cloud have actually worked fine with JAMF using the pkg built by Adobe.
I haven't done a PKG in a DMG for either 2017 or 2018 without any issues.

Tried using the PKG from CCP & works as a manual install, but in a policy, for us, it still requires 'Cache', DMG from Disk Util, & 'installPKGfromDMG.sh' script.

@c.archibald What version of JAMF are you on? We are on 10.3 and haven't had any issues this year or last year.
It does still zip them, I have seen people report this not happening sometimes which has caused issues.
Also are you using the CCP app or from the online dashboard? We are using the online dashboard for our packaging.

FWIW we have a 1GB threshold, where we CACHE the installer first.

If both a PUSH and PULL (Self Service) are needed, we CACHE only the PUSH.

This way a PULL doesn't become an unitentional PUSH.
