Airplay

Quick question about airplay and Casper Focus. We are trying to roll out a 1:1 next year in our 5th and 6th grades and we are going to be using Apple TVs in the classrooms. I have tested the Casper Focus app airplay portion for the "Teacher" iPad but when I try to focus a "Student" device to airplay from the teacher device it prompts the student to enter the password. My question is how do I get this function to work since we don't want students to enter passwords. They will hijack the Apple TVs if they get the password.

That depends on the password option you've chosen on the Apple TV.

You can use the JSS to install the AirPlay password ahead of time on the iPad as a config profile, or you can use the Apple TV's onscreen PIN option so each time someone goes to AirPlay, a pin is shown on screen and they have to be in the room to see and then type in the PIN.

If someone is in the room trying to play with the classroom Apple TV they can be told to knock it off.
