Anyone using SelfSevice as an application launcher??

I was wondering if any one is using Self Service as an application launcher? It is easy to create a policy using the Run Command section of the Advanced tab do /usr/bin/open -a TextWrangler

This acts like an install so it is not ideal. Running a script is only slightly more difficult. However what would be most interesting is like a Self Service plug in that would detect the presents of a list of uri's (ie file:///Applications/TextWrangler or the like) and show them for launch if present.

I think this will launch the app in the Casper admin user context, hence you'll have all sorts of troubles with saving/editing files and preferences, etc
