Asset Management and Ticketing options

We are a K-12 school system with multiple platforms (Mac OS, iOS, Chromebooks, Windows), with Assets in the thousands.

We are looking for useful suggestions on what people are using for systems with Asset Management and Ticketing combined. What are people using?

We really need it to have usable and accurate auto-discovery for inventory management, as well as the ability to input assets manually as well. Also, it should be able to work in at least a B network.

Bonus points for the ability to set up custom, or at least reliable reporting.

GLPI is pretty good - open source and free! It has network scanning and link assets to Helpdesk tickets as well as a million other features!
