Associate LDAP with a Mobile Device

I need to have devices enrolled in the JSS before the end users touch them in a one to one deployment. At the same time I want LDAP associated with the device. Does anyone know of any way other than enrollment, and manual input, to associate user info with a mobile device?

Alternatively does anyone have another workflow to manage/ deploy several hundred devices in a classroom environment and keep them managed by faculty, student, grade, and class Smart Groups for distribution and management purposes?

    We are in the same situation now with the introduction of the VPP license model. We want to mass enroll all of the devices here at the district office and then distribute them to students. Who will then login with their own Apple ID.
