Best practice for re-purpose iPad

New to JAMF environment, and some of the iPads are assigned to individual users. What is the process when an user leaves the organization,and we need to re-purpose it for a new user? Thanks in advance.

Here is what I did: - Collect iPad from user, have discussion about personal information on the device. What will be lost and how to backup/transfer data. - Have them sign out of iCloud (if signed in) - The user then starts the Erase All Content and Settings command on the iPad - In Jamf Pro, I remove the user from the device record. iPad set aside for re-deployment. - Remove the user from Jamf Pro
I kept the iPad in Jamf Pro because the asset tag number was in the device record and I didn't want to re-enter that.
Our iPads were in DEP and our pre-stage enrollment required AD credentials during set-up. The iPad was just handed to the new user who signed in an it was ready to go.
