Cannot update description for in house iOS app

JSS 9.97.

I am trying to update an inhouse app, which is hosted on our web server. I can edit the app itself, update the URL to point to the new version, update the version number and as far as I can tell all the other options are available to me.

However, when I go to the self-service tab, the "Description" field is greyed out. There is the previous information and release notes in there. But it won't let me edit the field. How can I edit the field?
