Classroom iPads enrolled over DEP
Focus for Apps and Websites set in JSS (websites set per teacher of course)
Teacher requested a focus be created for membean - we added the url to the teachers 'websites' but when focus is requested for the class we get 'cannot focus device' or 'device is locked with a passcode'.
Do the students need to have Safari open in order for the focus to work? Does the focus not open Safari automatically and then redirect to the website requested? Does the fact that students may have both Safari and Chrome browsers loaded cause any rift in the matrix?
In reading the tech manual I do not see anything that states "first have the students open the web browser" - coincides with no documentation that states 'first have the students open the app you want them locked into'
Thoughts?
