I have a few questions for clarification on the JAMF Casper Suite:
Traffic flow between central server and remote sites, can we throttle how fast, when, how much data is pushed to each local server when we have somehing new to send down?
When the servers sync with the central server does it re-sync all data or just the different data (deltas)
Can the schools have images that just stay local to their site server - So if the site creates something specific to only them (images / software jobs) can they run it locally and not need it to be copied up to the central server? We are trying to get definite sizing configured for our central servers (JSS). Can they keep the local changes local or does it all need to copy up to JSS as well?
How does grouping work for specific images. Group by brand? Some other criteria? - So what I mean is we have 3 or 4 main images on the main JSS Server, does every site server have to take all the images or can we group them so only specific images go to specific locations or sites
