I have created an LDAP Server Connection with my OD master so that
computer groups in OD should fill (static) computer groups in Casper and
these would populate according to clients added in OD (becoming somehow
"smart" groups).
The weird thing is not all the computer groups ("static", from LDAP
server) in Casper show the correct number of members they should have.
Some group is fine, some other group shows less computers than what they
are in the OD computer group.
If I test the LDAP connection ("Computer Group Membership Lookup") using
what apparently is a missing computer with its MAC address, it correctly
says it belongs to the group Casper should show that client into (and it
does not).
I had to manually set up the LDAP connection in Casper because the wizard
for OD point to users/usergroups and not computers, therefore there might
be something wrong in the mapping I used.
I tried restarting Tomcat, thinking it was a matter of updating the
results, but it did not work.
Is there some other way to troubleshoot this issue?
