We have several clients that work remotely using VPN. In this scenario a client computer will have a minimum of 2 IP addresses: 1 for their local network (ie. 192.168.1.xxx) and 1 for the VPN adapter (ie. 10.10.1.xxx).
From the JSS web console, I have the IP Address displayed in my inventory view. This always shows me the current active IP address. So for VPN clients it is properly showing me the assigned VPN address.
When we use Casper Remote to connect to VPN clients it first tries the local adapter, which obviously doesn't work. This appears to have a ~30 second timeout before it jumps to the next available address. We are happy to see it does work eventually, but is there a way to simply choose or prefer 1 connection over the other?
