Has anyone been able to successfully restrict the Apple TV app and Podcasts from being a part of the Catalina install?

I am in the same boat where I am trying to remove the app. So far I've only been able to disable it by setting up a restriction profile but can't seem to delete it. Even though the setting says delete the app.

Those Apps are not actually in the Applications folder, they are in System/Applications. Which means they are in the read only partition of the OS Drive. I am pretty sure that you won't be able to delete them. The version you can see in /Applications are some sort of symlink back to the System/Applications ones. I found this when one of the scripts I run failed, it makes hard links to a few useful apps for my colleagues to use rather than hunt for them. I had to change the target to the System ones for it to work.
