Hi Guys,

we're in a big push here to get rid of as much physical hardware as we can. Our current distribution points are running off of old Xserves, my goal is to try and move them to our storage shares.

I've gone ahead and created a hidden share on our netapp that is basically wide open. Should i have any problems setting that up a distro point for the JSS?

As far as I'm aware you shouldn't have any problems with using a NetApp SAN SMB share as long as you don't require HTTP downloads for your Mac clients.

Hope this was of some use,

Andrew
