Question

Creating JSS Summary via the API

Forum|alt.badge.img+4

I'm sure this is a question asked time and again, but I just don't seem to be able to find the answer so I'll ask it (again?)

Is it possible to create a JSS Summary (from v9.97.x, in my case) using the API? I'm pretty convinced it isn't.

Unless, I guess, you craft your own with eleventy billion api calls and stitch it together yourself...

That is correct. As of version 10.3.0 of Jamf Pro, there is not currently a single endpoint that would allow the collection of all data available within a JSS Summary. In fact, I'm quite confident there's data within the JSS Summary that isn't available from any API endpoints (e.g. Sever OS, MySQL version, etc.).

I thought as much, thanks for the confirmation. I shall add it to my human based cron tasks.
