Good news!
I renamed the files in the deployment folder to install.xml and uninstall.xml from whatever their file names were previously, uploaded to JSS using Casper Admin and going about the usual CS3 creation process. Then, installed Photoshop CS4 and Illustrator CS4 (license keys are different) via self service....
Works great!
I'll try adding Contribute CS4 and Premiere CS4 to the mix tomorrow...
