Disable Chrome internal DNS

Hello,

Has anyone found a reliable way to disable Google Chrome's internal DNS lookups? It always seems to cause problems with our internal sites. I assume there must be a plist entry for it but before doing a lot of experimentation I thought I'd ask if anyone's already solved the issue?
