Never heard of them. Their web page doesn't offer more than a single number, which pipes to a voicemail.

Curious if anyone packaged/deployed DSearch.app, which, for some strange reason, comes in the form of an Install DSearch.app application, requires/installs Adobe AIR 21 (good thing we test in our LAB), and doesn't come with system requirements, dependencies, or anything else.

Given all of the above, not getting the warm fuzzies, seems shady. Anyone deal with it before?

Spoke to the vendor. His developer decided to add AIR 21.0.0.176 to their proprietary installer.

DSearch.app was last updated in December 2015. AIR 21 came out in March 2016.

So I guess the vendor needs to send his developer for training on how software is deployed. :)

Never, ever a good idea to bundle a third party application (AIR) with your software (DSearch).

DSearch 1.1.0 seems to work fine with AIR 20.0.0.x so chalk this one up to a vendor's developer needing to get up to speed on how we do things in Enterprise. ;)
