I tried the method below to upgrade a Yosemite machine to El Capitan and it wiped the entire machine. http://resources.jamfsoftware.com/documents/technical-papers/Deploying-OS-X-v10.7-or-Later-with-the-Casper-Suite.pdf
I uploaded the Install El Capitan.app into Casper Admin, created a policy to cache the package, then another Self Service policy that installs cached.
The installer ran for about 30 minutes, rebooted, showed a screen that looked like Recovery Mode and gave me a few options.(I didn't get a screenshot) I chose to try and reinstall El Capitan. After a quick reboot, it brought me to the login screen and had my AD user account available, but once I logged in, all the documents and applications were wiped. This makes me a bit nervous to roll this out to an entire company.
Is there a way to bypass the admin password and allow non-admin users to download/install it from the App Store?

Make sure your Restart Options are set correctly:
Startup Disk: = OS X Installer
No User Logged In Action: = Restart Immediately
User Logged In Action: = Restart

Restart options are fine. Thanks. Just re-ran on another machine and it went through successfully. Going to test a few more times.
