Question

Error when sending: Remote Commands > Target Version > Specific Version

We are testing Nudge, and will be deploying soon. Until then, we are having someone manually send Remote Commands to address a 0-day vulnerability, to get macOS Big Sur 11.0-11.6 to 11.7, and macOS Monterey 12.0-12.5 to 12.6.

We seem to have lost the ability to specify the Specific Version. Anyone seeing this? We're opening a Jamf ticket, but wanted to post here for any feedback.

@donmontalvo What JSS version are you running, and is it on-prem or Jamf Cloud? I'm not seeing that behavior here, but still on JSS 10.40.1 in Jamf Cloud.

@sdagley we are internally hosted 10.40.1.

@donmontalvo Do you have a Dev instance showing the same error? It kind of sounds like the JSS might be getting an error attempting to get the list of available macOS updates from Apple which could be an SSL inspection/firewall issue.

We are on 10.44.1 version on-prem and we are also facing the same issue.

We have checked that the SSL inspection is turned off as well.

What could be the reason for this? Is this a bug?
