Give user access to create smart and static computer groups

I am trying to give a user access to create static computer groups and smart computer groups.

I gave this user create, read and update access to smart and static computer groups, but when they login they do not see the option to add computers in these groups or to create new groups.

Am I missing something?

Sounds like you may be doing it under the API privileges. Try check boxing the "Manage Smart Computer Groups" and "Manage static Computer Groups" under "Privileges". Test prior to applying to end user as I am not sure how flexible the privileges are.
